Think Differently is a social change campaign to encourage and support a fundamental shift in attitudes and behaviour towards disabled people. It’s about focusing on what people can do rather than what they can’t. Think Differently is doing this through work with disabled people’s organisations, and linking up with employers, educators, businesses, families, whanau, and influencers. The campaign uses the best knowledge and evidence about what makes people change the way they think and behave.
Projects are funded through the Making a Difference fund, which supports communities to develop projects that mobilise change at a local level.
Another Making a Difference Fund is now open. Applications will close on 3 September 2012.
Note: I Think Differently is a toolkit created in partnership with the Think Differently campaign.
