Businesses and organisations throughout New Zealand are being challenged to think differently about how to attract new customers via the Be. Welcome Accessibility Programme and capitalise on the ‘access dollar’.
In this tough economic climate, Be. Accessible is encouraging businesses to look at accessibility as a way of increasing customer bases and making themselves stand out in the increasingly competitive retail market. By becoming more accessible through the Be. Welcome Programme, businesses will gain access to the one in five New Zealanders who report living with a disability, as well as the aging baby boomer population, who are living longer and staying more active as they age.
These ‘access customers’ are rapidly becoming the most significant and influential consumer group in the world, so why wouldn’t you start to think differently about the way you deliver your products and services?
Simple changes to the way customer service is delivered, or the way you present information on your website or marketing material, could make the difference between an average year’s income, and a great one.
